What is the Difference Between Manali and Kashmir?

 Many people ask, is Manali and Kashmir are same right, but my answer is always no they are not same. Both are beautiful for hill places in India, but they are in different states, and both have their own style and charm and beauty. Lets understand in simple way, and i am sure after reading this blog, your all doubts will be cover.

Location

They are not in the same place, Manali is in Himachal Pradesh, and it is knows as North India. But Kashmir is in the union territory called Jammu and Kashmir, and this one is in North India too.

Nature and Views

When it comes to nature and views then both places are same, because Manali has tall pine trees, apple gardens, and lots of snow in winter, and then my favorite, green mountains. And Kashmir has big lakes (like dal lake), gardens (like Shalimar bagh), and snow mountains, just like Manali. Both are very beautiful, but Kashmir looks like heaven on earth with beautiful lakes and Mughal gardens.

Snow and Cold

If you want to see snow and feel cold in minus degrees, So first is Manali, in Manali the snow comes mostly in December to February. But in Kashmir, you can see snow in Gulmarg or Sonmarg for longer time, even in summer sometimes. So when it comes to Cold Kashmir is a little colder than Manali. 

Adventure Activities

Honestly when it comes to Adventure Actvities,  Manali always wins, beacuse Kashmir do not have that many activities to do. And Manali  is mostly famous for fun things like: Paragliding, River Rafting, Zipline, Snow biking, Camping, trekking, and biking. And if you want to do activities in Manali then make sure to look for trusted locals, and do not forget to check the ratings in googles, and some activity brands give amazing adventure experiences in Manali. 

And Kashmir is just about: Shikara ride(boat ride) in Dal Lake, Skiing in gulmarg, gondola ride, trekking and sightseeing, as i said, it does not have much aactivities like Manali, so if you want adventure and thrill then Manali is made for you.

So, i guess after reading this, you understand what is the difference between them, and if we look closely then Manali and Kashmir both are awesome for trips, no matter you want to come with your friends or family. But if you want adventure, peace and road trips, then go to Manali. And if you want lake beauty, and snow scenes,then try Kashmir. But honestly i guess both are greate place to visit etleast once in life

My First Skiing In Manali

When i was in my city i thought it is winter now, and i decided to go Manali but I never thought I will ever ski in life. I used to see snow and skiing in movies, people wearing goggles, colorful jackets, and sliding on ice. But when I finally reached Manali in Manali.
